Distractions Class

    When your dog is in "With Me", he or she is learning, under your direction, to observe distractions, rather than feel the need to act on it.
   Each dog has things that tweek them, and that is OK, it is the acting on it, while on leash that needs to be addressed, at least at first..
   So when your dog is on leash, it should be clear, you are the decision maker.

     "With Me"  when crossing streets, when on busy streets or tight squeezes, and before distractions come your way.

      Get in the habit of always releasing your dog from every command with an OK, this will help your dog WAIT, more easily.

  Practice;     SIT-WAIT-OK to catch a treat, these will soon be your proper greeting skills
  Practice;     BACK- WAIT- OK or just   WAIT -OK at all doors at entries and exits

Clear Directions

1. Dog's name first
2. followed by your command ( ie; SIT, COME, WAIT)
3. then your Hand Signal
4. Smile
5. Praise
