I Am Taking Vacation

Saturday's 9:15 -Basic Obedience Classes will not be held on August the 25th or September 1.
We will resume classes after Labor Day, on September 8th.
Sorry for any inconvience.

Until then;
Coninue to work on Your WAIT commands at all doors and curbs, as well as scooping poop.

Use your words first, especially when walking with your dog;

Teaching Your Dog To Focus On Directions

•   All commands are to be said 1X followed by your hand signal, then wait for complience.
• When you say your dog's name, it is a tractor beam to you!
• Praise for good choices

Classes resume September 8

Until then, practice;

WAIT -  a temporary stop of forward movement.
WAIT at  doors, curbs, when walking, for no reason. Practice inside and outside.
       always use OK or some other release word to continue on.

SIT - Always said once, always use your dog's name, always smile, always use a hand signal, always praise

LOOK - Teach your dog to check in with you, it can be a game changer!
